Maine - the Pine Tree State has more to offer than unending forests.
Maine is much more than a throughway between Canada and the US! It is a beautiful state to visit at any time of year. There are many year-round activities, which is why Maine is called “Vacationland.” Maine is rich in maritime and forestry history. There are thousands of miles of rugged coastline filled with sandy beaches and lighthouses, mountains and woods for hiking and exploring, and many historic state parks for various recreational activities. Maine is also home to Acadia National Park. To see what is offered throughout the various regions in the state, visit
